Amara La Negra Lands Record Deal

On Monday, January 1, VH1 premiered Love & Hip Hop (L&HH): Miami with an all-star cast. New to the mainstream scene is Amara La Negra; and she did not disappoint.

However, there was one person that did disappoint and caused an uproar on Twitter. Producer Young Hollywood decided to make some comments on Amara’s afro. Here are some of the comments that he said:

• “A little bit more Beyonce, a little less Macy Gray.”
• “Nutella queen.”

Well. Who is getting the last laugh? Amara La Negra is. According to an article on Billboard.com, “Following the premiere of Love & Hip Hop: Miami and Amara’s highly celebrated debut on the reality TV show Monday, Billboard has learned that the Dominican artist has inked a multi-album record deal with Fast Life Entertainment Worldwide and BMG.”
