Who is Eric?
I have over 8 years of communications and marketing experience and currently serve as a Healthcare Digital/Social Media Specialist for ICF.
I moved to the D.C area from New Jersey, where I had managed social media for the Atlantic City Alliance since 2012. My work experience also includes social media with the American Diabetes Association, marketing & promotions for WWSI Telemundo Philadelphia, and media relations for the Visit Philadelphia (formerly GPTMC). My first real job was with Taller Puertorriqueño, Inc.
One of my most proudest achievements was being named one of the “Delaware Valley’s Most Influential Latinos,” an event produced by the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress and Impacto Latin Newspaper, and in 2011, I took home the Hispanic Professional of the Year Award, one of three Excelencia Hispanic Business Awards distributed annually by the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. And I also received a Master of Arts in Writing Studies from St. Joseph’s University.
You may remember me from thehispanic.blogspot.com/, but I’ve since stopped blogging on that page. So…now we’re here!
